There are campgrounds both on the floor and the rim of the Grand Canyon. To camp in the bottom you will need a permit which must be obtained through the backcountry office.........

For South Rim camping (RV and tent) reservations at "Flintstone's Camp
Ground" call 1-928-635-2600., located at the junction of hwy.180 and hwy.
64, about 30 minutes from the South entrance to the Grand Canyon. Advanced
reservations accepted and highly recommended. Limited supply of full hookup's.
For the North Rim (217 miles from the South Rim), Kaibab Camper Village 1-928-643-7804 or 1-928-526-0924
For information on horseback rides down into Grand Canyon to the Havasupai (Supai) Indian Reservation call 1-928-448-2285.
Reservations are strongly recommended.

Firewood Available - Shipping Available All Rentals must be paid in advance and require a refundable security deposit. We will accept cash, Visa or Master Card. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by phone with a charge card. Cancellations not made within 24 hours before departure will be charged one full day rental cost. A Cleaning Fee will be charged for all sleeping bags not returned clean and dry. |
